The First Thirty Six years was compiled and written by William 'Bill' Reid.

 

Bill was a member of the Founder Committee and for thirty four years held the position of Society Chairman.

 

He was part of the driving force behind the Society, it's smooth running and friendly welcoming atmosphere has built up a highly respected reputation wherever it plays.

 

A round of golf with Bill was always enjoyable affair as were the conversations around the golf especially on the Annual Trips.

 

Always the gentleman, he is sadly missed by family, friends and the Society.
