CAPTAINS REPORT
We were given our usual warm welcome at Knebworth, followed by a hearty breakfast.
Thanks to all who played and to George, Brian and Digger for joining us on the day - (hope Digger's coaching helped George). As always it was a team effort from the committee and 'volunteers' to make the day so enjoyable.
Knebworth was a very appropriate course to start our 50th year as this was the first course the society played where George was the first ever winner.
This was our 35th visit and we have played over 1,100 rounds.
The weather was perfect for a round of golf, golf however is never perfect!
The breezy conditions that have followed would certainly have added an interesting factor (don't forget your sunscreen next time.)

Thanks as always to to Cal and Jayne Ferlisi for sponsoring the prizes for the Frank Abbiss Trophy.
Knebworth kindly donated a fourball voucher which was won by Dan A (his lucky day.)
I'm just off to sharpen the handicap axe !!
Stay safe and see you at Leighton Buzzard.
Cheers Neil
